I enjoyed this read about the rough stretch leading up to the NCSU game and the winning streak since. Although it still irritates me to read ESPN articles that talk about the incredible scrutiny of Grayson Allen when ESPN was the primary culprit of it. Still, I never noted unfair treatment of Allen by this author and think her treatment of him in this article is quite even handed.

Agreed it's an interesting article. NOTE: It's written by Dana O'Neill. The original title of the article was, "ESPN didn't figure out that constantly taunting a 20-year old isn't journalistic integrity before everything fell apart," but the editors felt that was too long. It was then changed to, "Grayson Allen: The Next White Duke Superstar?" but that title was deemed too similar to Dana's other atrocious article.

Just to clarify, FDD is alluding to this article, which drew the ire of many Duke fans and Grayson supporters: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/14644805/grayson-allen-being-hated-white-player-duke-blue-devils

DBR was not enthused: http://forums.dukebasketballreport.com/forums/showthread.php?37369-What-the-Hell-ESPN-quot-Is-Grayson-Allen-the-Next-Hated-White-Duke-Player-quot

I will never forgive Dana O'Neil and ESPN for their role in this. A nice article doesn't make up for past travesties.
