Plastered to the walls and ceiling, the messages are everywhere.
"GO TO HELL CAROLINA"
"ARM PITT"
"FORGET BENCHES, BURN DOWN WAKE FOREST"
"BEATING YOU ISN'T EVEN FUN"

Duke's secret room of history and headbands. There are hundreds -- maybe thousands -- of messages and slogans, many of them awful puns and generally pretty corny tag lines. That's the charm, though -- it's prideful, cheeky vandalism.

So, redundant, but this thread has a much more pleasant title. A room full of used headbands does not sound appealing.

Nah, he openly gets blood transfusions from Kristaps Porzingis.

The Secret Room in Cameron is where players learned to kick their feet when they shoot. There's also an area where every player gets their own individual parquet floor square with a center logo for them to practice slapping.

it's also know as DUMB Hell, and where they stash their instrument cases. i wouldn't encourage anyone to go near there around game time. it's crowded enough with just the band, without people trying to glimpse in.

I put my snare drum nearby. (I guess..I really don't remember....I just remember a long walk and a low ceiling - not that I've ever had to worry about low ceilings)

Were you the Blue Devil for a time? Or did you just mug him and take his headband?

I wonder if the younguns out here even know how the headband tradition got its start!?
