McCaffery Signed by Packers

ESPN is reporting that the Packers have promoted Max McCaffery from the practice squad, due to injuries to three receivers, and is eligible to play Sunday. He was only signed to the practice squad on December 20. What a chance to play with an elite quarterback!

[Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN] With uncertainty at the receiver position, the Green Bay Packers promoted Max McCaffrey from the practice squad, the team announced Saturday.

Packers receivers Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison are each listed as questionable for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Falcons in Atlanta.

Center JC Tretter was placed on injured reserve to make room for the Blue Devil.
