And Knox, Duval and Bamba.

From the article:

This is Duke’s 33rd consecutive season with a McDonald’s All-American, the longest streak in the nation by 24 years.

That implies that UNC has a streak no longer than 9 years. That doesn't seem possible. When was their last team without a single big mac?

Edit: or is the article saying that we have recruited at least one McD AA every year for 33 straight years? If so, that's amazing.

It is talking about recruiting a big mac every year. UNC most recently failed to land a big mac two years ago, when their class was Luke Maye and Kenny Williams. So far this year, they have failed to land one in 2017 (although they think they are in the mix for Knox).

UNC has had big macs on its roster every year -- Jackson, Berry and Pinson were all big macs three years ago.

Yes, that is correct. UNC Chapel Hill did not have a McDonald's All American in the 2007 class (Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, Taylor King for Duke)

Ah yes. Some say 09/Barnes was the turning point in the rivalry, but I always thought it was 07- even though it took a couple years to bear fruit.

UNC didn't have a McD A-A in 2015, either. Or 2003 or 1994 or 1988 or 1984 or 1978. The game started in 1977.

Current boys squads, didn't see a thread for it, kinda surprised. Duke has two on squads and 3 recruits. UK, as usual, has plenty.

Games to be played March 29th. All remaining undecideds would probably be commits (somewhere) by then, but not guaranteed.

Haven't seen Gary Trent play, have seen Wendell play-very impressive. If the McDs is somewhere imbedded in the recruiting thread I then apologize.

Don't be. There's a thread:
