MLS had their draft the day after (both take place at the big annual coach's convention).

Jeremy Ebobisse slipped a bit, but heads to Portland. I can only imagine the outcry that would have resulted from a basketball player doing what he did, and I do wonder if playing this past season at Duke could have solidified a higher draft position.
