My dad and I are big college basketball fans, my dad's birthday is coming up. He loved his Duke basketball Nike Swingman Authentic shorts. He needs a new pair of these shorts and I can not find his size. I am looking for a size XL. These are the shorts with the D and the hoop in the middle and has the blue NCAA square on it.

You won't find the D with the hoop in the middle. I believe only the immediate Duke basketball family gets these items. They are NOT for sale to the public. In my case, that means Duke gets less of my discretional $$$$. Somebody else can purchase the black Duke Nike stuff, too.

As mentioned, the shorts with the D and hoop in the middle aren't available in stores.

Check eBay, these shorts pop up from time to time.

After visiting the Duke Nike Store before the women's game last night, I am reasonably sure you could have someone pick the polyester balls, make and learn how to use a loom, buy a sewing machine, and build a pair of those shorts for you at about half what you'll have to pay for them through official channels:o.

Seriously, a cotton t-shirt for $36? I'm going swoosh-less.
