Betty White's still safe (AFAIK), but 2016 takes another. This time, it's long-time BYU football coach, LaVell Edwards (http://www.sltrib.com/sports/3810072-155/byu-football-coaching-legend-lavell-edwards), at 86 years young. What Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler were to "three yards and a cloud of dust," Edwards was to the pro style passing game (really a bit of a precursor to the "West Coast Offense"). He was an absolute legend in the Intermountain West. Another sad day.
