Can the answer be: Tennessee St.? They were the story of the game, not anyone from Duke.
If the answer has to be a Duke player, i don't see how it can be anyone other than Kennard. Yeah, Amile had 18 rebs, but that 1-8 FTs coulda been exploited even further if they had decided to just foul Amile every possession during the game-defining rally in the 2nd half.

The clear answer is Luke, and Amile is the runner-up. IMO. Or if you went with Amile and then Luke, I'd be OK with that, too.

Have to go with Amile although Luke was a beast.

Amile's shooting was poor, but defense, rebounding, and leadership tip the scale. He was not to be denied.

Luke Kennard earned my vote with his continued excellent play. His shooting percentages were impressive: 70 percent from the field, 60 percent on 3 PT FGs and 87.5 percent on free throws. He was on the court for 39 minutes which clearly indicates how valuable Coach K views Kennard.

Runner-up: Jayson Tatum started slow but he was a force during our big 2nd half run. He ended up as the team's second leading scorer with 14 points while grabbing nine rebounds. His defense at the point of the press is impressive.

Honorable Mention: Amile Jefferson with 18 rebounds.

I'm the only one voting for Jayson? Really? Adding the stats (- TO's), Jayson's score was 26, Amile had 25, and Luke 24.

Although Luke scored brilliantly and Amile rebounded brilliantly, Jayson was all over the place. He had 9 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

I think he should have gotten more love.
