Wonderful guy (I worked with him many years ago at Turner Sports) and someone who was loved by players and coaches alike.

And I'm betting that the fashion industry is probably also in mourning.

The world is more fun when people are inclined to disdain the mundane and be a little piquant. Sager's bravery in the face of illness was inspiring, but I'll always appreciate his unique flavor the most.

Sager's older children were peers of my kids and attended the same schools. Craig Jr. was on a number of my middle son's sports teams as they grew up. I knew him casually, but had not seen him for some time. Few people had a greater zest for life than Craig. His smile was genuine and his enthusiasm infectious. He had a bit of a Forrest Gump factor in his career as he seemed to know any and everybody. Their family Christmas cards were often family photos taken with various sports stars all of us would know. His reporting at home plate, as a 22 year old, of Hank Aaron's all time record breaking home run being a fine example of a "Gumpian" moment.

Truly a man who was high on life and lived it to the fullest. Very sad. Condolences to the Sagers.

Very touching tributes on TNT's NBA broadcast tonight. Will probably continue during the second game (Knicks at Warriors).

Not being an NBA fan, I don't recognize him, but it's always sad when someone goes before his time.
