Along with a 32 point lead after 1, they also scraped together a 29-0 4q margin.

Other fun stats include a +50 rebounding margin and 95 FG attempts.

Their bench seems to have played significant minutes.

12 Baylor players played double-digit minutes and no one played more than 21 minutes. Hard to say this was a team running up the score with their starters. I have no idea if Baylor was pressing but Winthrop only had 28 turnovers, not an insane number. Baylor only shot 20 threes so they weren't running up the score that way. It just happened... no one's fault.

I'd say it was Winthrop's fault.

Also, Baylor didn't win by 100 points, they won by 108 points. 140 - 32.

Baylor is very good but could not hang in with Uconn.

Sure they could. the game was tied with 8 minutes to go. Given, Uconn's upside is huge given they graduated 3 players that comprised the best women's basketball class ever...they went from should have lost to FSU to rolling over ND in a month.

Given with the dependence on new players, there will likely be some inconsistency. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost one of these games.

The Winthrop Eagles Women's team is 1 and 9 on the season, so it is not surprising that they would have great difficulty with a first rate team such as Baylor.

I'd imagine the locker room support people might have even gotten a few minutes. Might have pulled people in off the streets too.
