Who was Man of the Match in Duke's demolishing of UNLV today?

One of those "unanimous" games. A lot of guys played well, but there was a clear winner today IMO.

I'm on my phone. Is T-Bone on the list?

Grayson doesn't even get a last name.

Too bad we can't give Coach K a vote after a great game AND Army beating Navy.

No. Jacksonville Strip is, though.

And the winner is..... Grayson Allen. He imposed his will today. Defense had no answer.... Fun to watch!

The demise of Grayson Allen has been greatly exaggerated.

I suppose the lone Jeter vote was a nod to his homecoming.

there was no one even close to Grayson. From the field, from 3, even got to the line a few times (4-5). He coulda scored 50+ if coach K wanted to leave him out there.

Meh...just shows that no matter what, we will never have a unanimous MOTM winner....just ain't gonna happen..... which is a shame because there are rare games, like the one today where you really can only make a rational argument for one player, In most games there are valid reasons to vote for different guys. Today just wasn't one of them.

Good golly, Miss Molly. I didn't even watch and the choice seems so obvious tonight. Why not unanimous? Someone better 'splain themselves...

"Jacksonville Strip" - now THAT sounds like an offensive nickname. :)

It's DBR. We don't do unanimous.

I know, right? (Or "IKR" as the young'uns apparently text these days.) I suspect there was even an outlier or two in the March 28, 1992 vote.

Well, I did not register the lone vote, but for the reason cited above I am not unhappy that someone did, and thus will cast no stones at that voter.

90 out of 92 votes (at the time of this post) is an impressive feat for Grayson regardless. It's hard to get 90 out of 92 people to agree on anything, especially since there are no guidelines for MOTM voting and thus no wrong answers.

So happy to see that Grayson looks like his toe is healthy or at least healthier. That was one of the major Phase II questions -- whether he can get his toe healthy in December. About 5 minutes after the UNLV game ended, he was interviewed on ESPN and he said that the toe was getting "closer and closer to 100%." So I think we're looking good there. I think by the end of December, Grayson will have a 100% toe.

Same here. Happy for the kid.

Grayson was, well, Grayson.

The group I was with were talking about whether he would
play, or give the foot some rest the remainder of the month.

In warmups he did not show any hesitation on layups, dunks
he looked very comfortable. He had great lift on his outside shot
at one point hit 4 out of 5 from the right corner.

A few minutes into the game he answered the above, with emphasis,
and kept answering it all day long.

After his last dunk and when K subbed him out, K made a comment to
him and they both smiled.

My imagination let me think it was " okay, your healed" or words to that
effect. Would like to know that one.

The MOM can be subjective sometimes, and at times it can
be just shades of difference, recently Slower and i had that conversation,
and it was fair, for that game.

This was was pretty clear to me.

The best compliment I can give Grayson, he epitomizes a Duke basketball player.

Great post. Grayson was MOTM, so glad to see him getting back to normal. Shame to see that a few voters had some sort of issue with their phones and missed the checkbox next to GA!
