This one hit me hard due to the way I found out about Greg passing away. I was watching Christmas videos on Youtube this morning and when I typed in Greg's name a number of his songs popped up along with a clip announcing his death.

I guess it was a fitting tribute to Greg that I listened to Father Christmas after hearing the news.

This has been a bad year for musicians from my generation and the news of their passing is a somber reminder that my days are numbered as well.:(

I don't frickin believe this, this really really stinks. It's completely inconsequential to the news of his passing but whenever I sit down to practice I always begin with "From the Beginning" as it was one of the first songs I learned to play years ago. Here's a live version from 2005 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8AP-kobAtg.

Lucky Man was my most memorable vocal by Greg Lake.

Another brilliant composition that I first heard on WDBS from his work with King Crimson

Emerson died a few months ago.

King Crimson had a number of members after Greg left. Robert Fripp has been the constant. Here's my favorite piece ("Epitaph"), featuring Greg, from the debut album, Court of the Crimson King, released in October 1969.
