Last week decided the Atlantic Division race -- with Clemson beating Louisville and UNC upsetting FSU the Tigers are home free -- if even they lose to FSU later this season. They would have to lose twice to miss the ACC title game and that ain't going to happen.
The focus shifts to the Coastal Division race this week. UNC has gained the upper hand with its two narrow wins the last two weeks over Pitt and FSU. But Virginia Tech and Miami remain viable contenders. All three have pivotal games this week -- especially the VPI at UNC matchup:
Friday
Clemson at Boston College (7:30 pm, ESPN)
Saturday
Notre Dame at NC State (noon, ABC)
Georgia Tech at Pitt (12:30 pm, ACC Network)
Virginia Tech at UNC (3:30 pm, ABC/ESPN2)
Army at Duke (3:30 pm, RSN)
Syracuse at Wake (7 pm, RSN)
Florida State at Miami (8 pm, ABC)
Louisville gets the week off to get ready for next Friday night's game with Duke.
