Amile is making a late charge up my list of favorite players. The leadership he displays is awesome, and I have a ton of confidence in his ability to help be a coach on the court and keep the young uns in line.

That's what a leader does. Awesome words of wisdom to the younger fellas.

What I take from this letter is that this young man takes leadership very seriously. In short, he gets it. In an age when teams can be so young leadership is more crucial than ever. You can encourage it but I don't believe on any level it can be forced. He is a willing leader. As bad as I hated to see his injury keep him on the sideline I certainly am glad to have him back for another run..Hopefully to #6.

We have three amazing captains this year. Veterans, warriors, champions all.

Bull City, out.

Exactly, and again, if anyone thinks this young man isn't going to start and play lots of minutes, check your expectations and recalibrate them......

It is called maturity. It usually comes with experience and age.

Might be better to say it often comes with experience and age. I can think of a lot of basketball examples where maturity came a bit later than one might hope.

Amile clearly has it, however, as does our other senior.

is it just me? those photos of him have him looking much more athletic and "legue-like"......maybe it's just been a long summer...

My wife begs to differ as well and would probably go with "sometimes"...

Probably because there were no cinder block walls with which to measure the practice.
