I used to wonder about that too, but looked it up a few years back. Whenever I see him in a part, "Linderman" immediately comes to mind. That was a role he played in the movie "My Bodyguard" back in 1980, one of the great sleepers that year, starring a young Matt Dillon, Joan Cusack in braces, John Houseman, and a few others. That was probably one of his very first roles, and as it turns out, he's had a decent career as a character actor the past 3 decades, and is still only 40 something.
