What the heck, I thought we should give the ladies some love.
Here are some introductory videos on the new girls:
Leaonna Odom: http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=22760&SPID=1846&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=211146311&DB_OEM_ID=4200
Emily Schubert: http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=22760&SPID=1846&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=211129003&DB_OEM_ID=4200
Sofia Roma: http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=22760&SPID=1846&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=211157471&DB_OEM_ID=4200
Here's a good note...Kendall Cooper is on the roster. Welcome back.
Please, can we have good health this year? I will not profess to be an expert on women's college basketball, but I would think a backcourt of Lexie Brown and Becca Greenwell is among the best in the nation. Really looking forward to how they mesh. Add all these second year players who we could hope to see great strides from (they all showed flashes last year)...Kyra Lambert, Haley Gorecki, Crystal Primm, and Faith Suggs...and there is flexibility and possibilities for 3-guard lineups.
The frontcourt also has talent and experience, with Oderah Chidom, Kendall Cooper, Lynee Belton, and Erin Mathias. I expect Leaonna Odom to be a bit of a swing player, and Emily Schubert is probably a prospect this year. Sofia Roma will sit out a redshirt year.
