View Full Version : Roy has knee surgery

No surprise here. One of Roy's tibias is much longer than the other. When he goes into his signature squat his knees have taken quite a beating, and over time, led to periodic instability. He keeps tripping and landing on his high-knee.

I hope he has a quick recovery, and a winless season next year.

Get well coach, but don't coach well.

I fully expect Williams to have hernia surgery within the next month.

In a press release from Chapel Hill: Roy wants everyone to know that he had his surgery scheduled before K scheduled his.

Hey, let's spend two decades accusing him of faking this surgery.

Wait, scratch that. Let's be decent human beings with consciences, instead. That's another way to go.

Which other surgery would you prefer we spend two decades accusing him of faking?

Perfect opportunity to wish him a full and speedy recovery while he takes this time out from his work duties. ;)

They had previously offered Roy hernia surgery, but he declined.

Hernia surgery should be OAD but I'd bet roy would keep it around for 2-3 years or more.

What has this thread been posted on a DUKE basketball message board? I couldn't care less about 'Ol Roy's knees.

One Cheater thread is more than enough and there's already a thread talking about how they are going to get away with 20+ years of cheating.

So THIS is what he has been saving his TOs for!

Very astute. ;)

But there are no TOs in golf!

Well, one school of thought would suggest that golf is, by definition, a time out.

This thread seems at least as interesting as threads about Duke baseball or Kevin Streelman.

Of course there are time outs in golf. Occasionally you have to stop drinking, if only to take a whiz (don't bother, a saline solution is the death knell to grass, hence deeply frowned upon).

Serious question for our medical posters: how long after this surgery should one wait before resuming throwing people under busses?

Asking for a friend.

Oleander bushes seem to tolerate it well though... or so I've been told.

It keeps deer from eating your azaleas. At least, that's what I told my neighbor that night.

Is that why they have 18 holes distributed around the course, each marked with a big flag? I'd think those holes would fill up pretty quickly, they weren't that deep.

In a press release from Chapel Hill: Roy wants everyone to know that he had his surgery scheduled before K scheduled his.

Per Mitch Kupchak, the best plastic surgeon in Los Angeles offered Roy surgery, but Roy turned it down to stay close to home and have this surgery instead. He cares too much about his boys.

Probably stayed here to have the surgery done at Duke! Tee might tee him up.

Either i have misinterpreted your emoticon or you have misinterpreted the term, but i'm guessing its the latter. No slight to Germans intended.
