"Jones' high basketball IQ is his greatest strength and he will most likely have to rely on that innate intelligence in order to be successful in the NBA. He possesses a skill that rarely, if ever, can be taught over the course of a career."

Good article, but nothing new to Duke fans other than Tyus is a surprisingly solid rebounder for a PG.

According to the article, his pros:
-Basketball IQ
-Basketball IQ
-Basketball IQ
-Decent 3pt shot
-Passing

His cons:
-Athleticism
-Strength
-Defense
-Finishing within 10ft of the basket

PG is a position where IQ can carry you just as far as pure athleticism, but even great passers can find it hard to get off the bench if they are too unatheltic and/or poor shooters. Look at Kendall Marshall.
Tyus is still very young, and do not doubt that he will become a quality PG in the NBA.

Kevin Pelton at ESPN mentioned Tyus's rebounding ability quite a bit prior to last year's draft -- that his rebounding at Duke was beyond that what you would expect of a PG his size and more in line with a wing's. It is generally one of the stats that tends to translate at the next level.

Tyus needs to take lessons from Kyrie on how to finish at the basket among all the trees. :)

Kyrie is the master at finishing at the rim. Austin Rivers has also had issues finishing at the rim but in the games i saw this year, he was much improved.

One of the things I was so impressed with during his time at Duke was the ability to finish at the rim....

Now, I know that the Big Leagues has a bunch of rimbats who eat PGs for lunch, but he can do it...
