WBB: Sofia Roma transfers from Wagner

It appears that soph Sofia Roma is transferring from Wagner to Duke. She'll have to sit out the 2016-17 season, and then will have two years of eligibility left.

She's a 6'2" post player, averaging 5.7 points and 10 rebounds a game last season for the Northeast Conference's cellar dwellers. Wagner fired their coach after the season, and just hired a new one last week.

Should coach P be accepting transfers' before her position is firmed up ? I could see taking a player like Azra Stevens but
our situation should be resolved in a few weeks lets be fair to the program and possibly a new coach.

Well, if her job is truly at risk, I see your point. But unless you have some inside info, I'm not sure we know that. And if she continues as coach and doesn't see to filling up the roster, that's not a good approach either.
