Excerpt:
But Capel, who is still only 41 years old, has ultimately decided to be extremely patient with his career -- the way Shaka Smart was at VCU, the way Brad Stevens was at Butler, the way Archie Miller is right now at Dayton -- and wait for an absolutely perfect opportunity before committing to becoming a head coach again, mostly because he's currently in a great spot as the associate head coach for, and right-hand man to, Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski. Beyond all that, Capel will be an obvious candidate to take over at Duke whenever Krzyzewski eventually retires. So although Capel is anxious to again run his own program, it will, at this point, take something really special to get him to leave his alma mater, sources told CBS Sports.
If true about the "really special" criteria, I don't think Jeff's leaving for any of the openings right now.
Also, as linked yesterday, the GaTech Rivals site is reporting that Bryce Drew is going to be their guy anyway.
