We lost Matthew Olosunde to Manchester United (and also Oxford University online classes).

Now we have lost Will Pulisic to Dortmund for at least a season so it would be assumed that he is staying an amateur and is still considering coming later. Oddly enough he is apparently a UConn MBB fan.

That puts a damper in a pretty good recruiting class for John Kerr.

This coupled with the possibility of Jeremy Ebobisse leaving permanently to pursue a professional career makes next season less promising at this point although we do have a lot of solid four year types.

Will Pulisic will join his cousin, 17-year-old phenom (and budding USMNT talent) Christian Pulisic at Dortmund. Both featured for the U.S. U-17 team during the U-17 World Cup last fall, and it was looked at as very possible he would go this route. He has not signed a professional contract and if he doesn't, he may then choose to attend Duke after the end of the 2016-17 season.
