Interesting thought to consider given the Madness of March:

If top 16 NCAA teams played a Best-of-7 series... How many titles would Duke have under Coach K?

In my book, 1999 would be a +1.
2010 was a gift, but likely -1.

If were a demigod, I'd love to see the NBA adopt single-game elimination just for one year. It would be awesome

I think some underrate Duke's 2010 team. That was definitely a top 3 team in the country at the end of the year that could have competed with anyone in a one game, 3 game, 7 game or whatever game series.

We probably add 1986 and 1999, and probably lose 1991 and 2010. Maybe we add 2002, though. 2015 would be interesting, as we probably face UK in the final and not Wisconsin.

I think people are undervaluing the 2010 team. what they did in the tournament was so incredibly methodical, I think they had a really good chance of wearing any opponent down....especially in a 7 game series. They were the most efficient team in the country, and all a series does is give them more possessions over which to exert that advantage.

Further, for UK, I wouldn't be so sure they would have made the final. In the two games they played against actual opponents, they should have lost one of them (ND lost it for them) and did lose the other.
