Interesting that Amile was included without playing in an ACC game this season. I wonder if that's ever happened before.

if Amile redshirts, is his academic all acc vacated? would this be the opposite of carolina's predicament in regards to vacating wins and championships for academic nonperformance?

I always look forward to the announcement of these honors. Congrats to all the guys represented. The ACC is stronger for their contributions on and off the court.

Are you doubting his academic eligibility for a lack of athletic performance? That is a topsy-turvy situation.

So, the release notes the names of previous winners of the Skip Prosser Award, which is given to the top student athlete in the ACC in hoops each year. Tyler Zeller won it in 2011 and 2012 and I can't help but wonder if even a small percentage of his impressive GPA was the result of fake classes or a scheme to ensure Carolina players got easy As. It is really unfair to Zeller that I wonder about that as all indications are that he did go to class and perform the work. He was a business administration major, which is not one of the departments that appears to have offered gimme classes. Plus, most of his career came after Carolina seemed to be shutting down the fraudulent scheme. Still, I can't help but wonder...
