National Enquirer headline writer must have found a new gig.

Looks like a standard upgrade to a coaches new contract, nothing more.

The vast majority of Duke fans hope that you are correct, Wheat.

No, this is major news - a followup story on whether Roy is the next hated white UNC coach is sure to follow

It is how internet sports "reporting" works these days - come up with any hook to a story to generate page clicks

Coach Williams is welcome to stay at UNC as long as he likes. As a Duke fan I welcome this, and hope they haven't found a way to fire him.

In fact, he should be forced to coach them through their years of scholarship limitations.

Now THAT would be a major change to his contract.

Coach Williams told Andy Katz that he would like to coach 6-10 more years. That sounds about right for scholarship limitations!

I am still chuckling at this response.

But, did USA Today search the contract to find out how many free biscuits he gets for each unused time out at the end of the season?

I guess UNC just isn't in the daggum firing spirit.

Once again, too many people overlook the real problems with u-n-see.

I love Roy being at Cheat College, and I'm sure Coach K loves using and owning him 2-3 times a year with all the hype. I think K has won 11 out of the last 14 against the short bus driver. Please, please keep him there and give him another contract extension!

Go Duke!

I was thinking the exact same thing! Why would Duke fans want to see him gone? I like his Time Out philosophy, it works out well for the Blue Devils.

Maybe we can get all of his time outs?

Yeah, but it would come with free health care.

Maybe that is what ol' roy is saving his timeouts for! The wait for Canadian health care! (free, NOT fast)

He didn't earn any biscuits today!
