Hudson is coming off the best game of his career -- 22 points at Pittsburgh.

Thomas is, of course, a very talented head case who has hurt Duke in the past. He will be back for the Duke-Wake game Mar. 1.

The dismissal of Hudson is bigger than the suspension of Thomas. Hudson's only a sophomore and was averaging almost 8 ppg.

Some Wake fans have suggested that Hudson's was a third strike for pot. No idea about Thomas; could be the same, but not the third strike, but could equally be fighting with the coaches.
