Who was Duke's Man of the Match in their 62-64 loss to Syracuse?

He played aggressively and had a career day. Little help for him today. Grayson was also good but it had to be Marshall after that effort.

There was a moment in the waning moments of the game, when possibilities were still limitless, that Marshall executed one of the prettiest moves I have ever seen him or any other big man make. That's when the idea for this flashed in my head. Easy vote for me.

I want to see MP3 of the last 5 games playing alongside Amile. Maybe he can pull a Zoubek.

Syracuse only shot 29% from inside the arc in this game, and a lot of credit has to go to Marshall. This was Marshall's best rim protection game and best overall game at Duke.

Unfortunately, Syracuse got a lot of open threes off offensive rebounds, transition, and scramble situations in general, and unfortunately, they made a high percentage.

But for the stuff around the rim, Marshall was the man.

It is normally difficult for me to vote/discuss the MOTM after a loss. This morning is a little easier due to Plumlee's performance (19 points/17 rebounds/4 blocks). I am obligated to point out only six of Plumlee's 17 rebounds were defensive and we lost the game due to Syracuse dominating their offensive glass.

And lost because of miserable shooting.

MP3, nobody else even showed up. Incredibly disappointing effort outside of MP3.

I think I am going to skip voting on this one. Plumlee had the best game, but gave up the game because he couldnt grab defensive boards.

Plumlee had the best night for the guys in white, but Tyler Roberson was far and away the MOTM.
