The 2016 outdoor season opens this weekend with the US Lacrosse Spring Premiere in Bradenton, and Duke will be well represented.
The senior women's national team, featuring Sarah Bullard '11 and Maddie Crutchfield '18, will scrimmage with Florida and Cuse on Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday, Coach Danowski will lead the senior men's team for the first time, in a scrimmage against defending NCAA champs Denver. Six Duke alums--attackmen Matt Danowski '08 and Jordan Wolf '14, midfielders Ned Crotty '10, Justin Turri '12, and Dave Lawson '13, and faceoff specialist Brendan Fowler '14--have been called in.
Finally, freshman midfielder Brad Smith will be part of the U-19 men's team that faces Canada U-19 on Sunday.
