Northwestern just lost its senior center with a foot injury (sound familiar?), so Collins decided to play a freshman who had been redshirting. The freshman, Derek Pardon, in his second game and first conference game, scores 28 points and grabs 12 boards to beat Nebraska at Nebraska.
