It seems that about once a week one of the excellent DBR homepage articles includes an error. Usually these errors are minor but they frequently warrant a correction in the interest of maintaining the quality of the DBR readership's collective sports knowledge base. (And aside from accuracy, it wouldn't be DBR without nit-picking.)
Rather than posting a series of individual threads to the forum noting errors, or missing errors entirely due to a reticence to devote new threads to minor mistakes, I like the idea of using a single thread to point out these inaccuracies.
My example for today: Barry Jacobs' ACC/Big 10 Challenge chart lists Duke's 14-2 record as a 97.5% winning percentage. Yes, it's a minor typographical error, but if I had that kind of grade inflation as an engineer at Duke, I would have graduated with one hell of a GPA.
