Episode 35 of the podcast is ready for your listening pleasure, as Ron Burgundy, Champ Kind and Brick Tamland are your hosts this week! On this episode, we recap the terrible football loss to UNC and preview the Pitt game. We also get into basketball with discussion of the Harry Giles commitment, preview of the Siena and Bryant games and this year's major rules changes. We end with a fun predictions game for the basketball season as well as predictions for where we end up traveling for the bowl game.

In the predictions segment, I mentioned that it was a contest between us three hosts. Please comment with ideas for what the winner and loser(s) of the contest should win or lose. We'll decide which one we like most and follow through on it.

0:00 – Donald (Ron Burgundy) welcomes Jason (Brick Tamland) and Sam (Champ Kind) in one of the silliest podcast openings ever!
3:15 – Time to talk football and that awful game in Chapel Hill. Jason thinks Carolina chickened-out and should have gone for a NCAA record.
8:30 – Sam puts a positive spin on what Duke has ahead in football
11:30 – Sam begins our preview of the Pittsburgh game this weekend
15:20 – Jason talks about a couple quirky little things to look out for in the Pitt game, including how to spell Q(u)adree.
20:25 – Donald wants to talk basketball and gets it started with a conversation about the impact of Harry Giles commitment to Duke. Jason is so excited about it, his audio breaks up and you can’t hear him bragging about how awesome Duke is going to be when Giles arrives on campus.
28:10 – Finally, it is time to talk about the current basketball season! Jason gives us some names to listen out for on Duke’s first opponent of the year, Sienna.
32:30 – Sam tells us about Bryant. He points out that their best interior player is 6-6… that could make it tough for them to compete.
38:45 – Donald says you can go to the Bryant game and also help a good cause by buying tickets through the Wonderglo foundation
40:00 – Jason thinks the new rules coming to college hoops could really impact the game
48:30 – We talk about the team impacted the most by the rules changes… can you guess who it is?
51:00 – Sam plays a prediction game which totally blindsides Jason and Donald.
1:00:45 – Jason’s parting thought… a few words about the forgotten seniors on the Duke hoops team
1:02:20 – Donald plays another prediction game – what Bowl game will be the destination for Duke football?
1:06:05 – “I am Ron Burgundy?” Goodbye everyone!

Does this mean that Jason killed a guy with a trident?

Jason, I've been meaning to talk to you about that -- you should find yourself a safe house or a relative close by and lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

Lets end the season now! I am winning with every category right except steals (and Ingram is only 1 steal behind Plumlee).

Pretty solid 0 for 7 for me.

I got 1/7. Safe to say I'm not winning this time. Though, I did set my tiebreaker at 35 wins because we would win the national championship, so I think if we win the title again, I get some bonus points for that. ;)

We have to wait until the end of the postseason, right? If Duke figures out how to hang 3 banners the rest of the way, then I nailed the wins prediction, which I hope Donald and Jason wouldn't mind.

I will gladly go 0/7 if it means we're hanging 3 banners!
