Jeremy Cash and Ross Martin both made the cut:

It hadn't occurred to me that Martin might be in these conversations, but as the Worldwide Leader points out, he's 12-12 on FGs this year, and in a handful of tight situations, his reliability has indeed been a boon to our team.
Pretty cool that Duke has 2 of the 24 players on this list. The other three schools with multiple players on there? Stanford, Ohio State, and Baylor...all top 10 teams. We're legitimately punching among the heavyweights these days, people.

Just a few notes on Martin -- he's kicked more field goals without a miss this season than anybody else in college football (he's 12-for-12 ... nobody else is better than 10-for-10). The 53-yard game-winner he kicked (into the wind) against Boston College is tied for the sixth longest FG in college football so far this season.

He's also a perfect 19-for-19 on extra points ( know Duke missed two EPA vs. Georgia Tech, but we messed up the snap/hold on both and he didn't get to attempt to kick either).

For his career, he's 64-of-75 on field goal attempts, including 5 of 7 over 50 yards. He's 173 of 174 on extra points (his only miss coming his freshman year)

Curious ... did they pick a kickoff return specialist? Devon Edwards has to be in the mix there.

Devon Edwards has to be in the mix there. They picked one "all-purpose" player, Christian McCaffrey of Stanford (yes, of those McCaffreys...Max's brother--so I guess we can accept that). I totally agree that Devon would have to be in the conversation if they were to name a return specialist.

CBS Sports has Cash & Martin on their mid-season AA too... http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/25346365/cbs-sports-2015-midseason-college-football-all-america-team-awards

They have Evan Berry of Tenn as their kick returner. Like Devon Edwards, he has 2 kick returns for TD's so far this year, and his average return is close to Devon's, too. I guess our first rate Defense is hurting Devon here, because Berry has twice as many returns as Devon.

Wait, I thought this was a Duke FB thread, not another unc men's BB recruiting thread...

I'm yelling loud for Devon to return another KO or three for TDs by the end of the season, too.
