He's having a terrible summer league but making every attempt to stay on the court?

So, MJ is going to revoke his privilege of selecting the Hornets Summer League team meals? That is, after all, the Carolina Way.

The potential headlines and puns really are fantastic.

Yeah, that's the ticket!

Despite his blazing speed, PJ no longer has a license to drive at will.

I think we're all gunning for trouble here but the caliber of comments is certainly exceeding expected limits.

Really? A ticket for driving to the left? Isn't that what the coaches have been asking him to do for years?

Yeah, that tough love displayed by ol' roy obviously turned this kid around.

Charlotte Mecklenburg County Police records indicate Hornets guard P.J. Hairston was cited June 18 for driving with a revoked license and expired tags, speeding and driving left of the center line.
I like how not only is he driving illegally, but he's driving illegally badly. That takes a special kind of intelligence.

Driver's Ed must be a no-show class at UNC too.

Hey, that's a high school course. They don't offer that high a level of instruction at UNC.

Or he was distracted tossing his weaponry out the window. Or both.

Yep, I hate 'em individually and collectively. Shame he didn't have Will Graves and Makhtar N'Diaye with him.

Not going to start a new thread because if we did that, this place would be overpopulated with Heels in Hell. Ty Lawson has added himself to the list of past players that really should stay away from cars.

Ty Lawson was arrested for driving under the influence in Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, the Denver Nuggets point guard's second DUI arrest in less than six months.

SMH...these guys are ridiculous.

P.J. will be lucky if he still finds himself on the Hornets roster this time next year. This is a team that is consistently in the bottom 5 in the NBA in regards to 3 point shooting. Enter PJ, allegedly a specialist with unlimited range, and he STILL cannot get on the floor. PJ was outperformed by an underrated rookie in Aaron Harrison in summer league for goodness sake! His play, paired with his off-the-court issues, don't seem to be pointing towards a very optimistic future. Not to mention, this is technically his 3rd year as a professional (partial year spent in D-league after dismissal) and he STILL can't figure things out.

And with Ty...not only is he currently being shopped, but he is being shopped and receiving very, very little interest from opposing franchises. Everyone knows what Ty is on the court..and while he is a good player, he doesn't move the needle a ton. Now with his compounding legal issues..is he really worth the assets you would have to give up to acquire him? I don't think so. Especially with the flood of talent at the PG position.

Sometimes all you can do is laugh :D

If so, it would appear that Ty Lawson and PJ were study buddies for that one. He just racked up his 2nd DUI arrest this year...and it's only July!
