Nolan Smith spoke at Coach K camp last week and Max interviewed him after.
He is an incredible role model for kids - an outstanding athlete, scholar and member of the community.

Check out the interview and hear about his days at Duke, playing in the NBA and what he thinks about the new Duke Freshmen.

Nolan is such a great ambassador for Duke, such a solid guy, and wonderful example of how a talented player with four years at Duke can raise his game to amazing levels. Hey Nolan, THANKS for that fourth ring in 2010!

More importantly, his commitment to academics, and his recognition that BBall is only part of life presents a valuable lesson for kids. Another shining example of why Coach K is the best and deserves to be proud of his Duke program.

PS: Max, great interview! Charlie Rose wants to be your agent...

He's a nice little baller, too. I saw him match-up with my son and he did a little MJ/Byron Russel drive step back foul line J in his mug. I told my son he needed to add that move to his game, when my son saw this interview, he said, "That's the kid that shook me!"

Thanks, Billy Dat, it might have been this shot- (Refereed by the Chief, who overlooked the MJ push off, no less): https://youtu.be/rz2Hbvn4raU

Max (my grandson) just loves the Duke camp, all the excitement, and getting to meet Coach K and so many Duke players, past and present. He and your son are among the luckiest kids ever.
