Other than the MOP mistake, this actually is a pretty interesting article--which is probably why it was linked on the front page of DBR this morning.

Yup. Saw that after my post. Sorry, all. Still a good article about a good guy and family.

Sure--and more people will see it if it's mentioned both on the front page and in the forum, so maybe still worth posting. Sorry if I seemed snarky.

Right. For example, I don't usually go to the front page (my link is directly to the forum). So for me, I wouldn't have otherwise seen it.

No snarkiness felt. Thanks...but no apologies needed at all...I'm not that sensitive... :)

I don't have a link, but Justise did a very funny interview on The Doug "Smarmy" Gottlieb Show yesterday on CBS Sports Radio. One takeaway for me:

Justise enjoys eating a peanut butter, jelly, and jalapeno sandwich. I believe he specified 60% peanut butter, 40% jelly, and heavy on the jalapenos.

I must try this.

As if I couldn't live Justise anymore, he goes and takes a classic and adds the heat. Genius!

20+ minute interview with Justise conducted by Mike Francesa of NYC's WFAN. He has been gushing over Justise since March so it's a positive vibe.

Billy - being another local...is Mike F gushing really a good thing? I avoid him like the plague...a know-it-all windbag ... (sorry). Even Michael Kaye is better (same time slot in the PM, basically).

At least Mike has this one right...

I only included that modifier because, as you know, he can be surly and I wanted to assure everyone it was an upbeat interview. However, he does get a major thing wrong in the interview. He says he's been monitoring the mock drafts and he hasn't seen one where Justise goes below 4. I actually haven't seen one, aside from the DBR Mock draft, where he goes higher than 4. In fact, nearly everyone has him slotted to Denver at 7.

All definitional I guess. Is 7 higher (in number) than 4? Or is it lower (in draft selection). So, is draft 7 higher or lower? :)

"What, ultimately, does Winslow see himself as in a couple of years?

“I think I’ll be a 22-year-old Justise Winslow,” Winslow said."

Plus he likes PB&J with some heat.

Today's installment. An interview with Steve Serby in the NYP. Justise getting a lot of run in NY.

The more I think about it, the more I like Justise in NY. He has that full toolbox that would seem to make him a great fit for the Triangle. Time will tell if he's more of the Scottie or more of the MJ.

- I reserve the right to be relieved if he does not go to the Knicks tonight

Just heard that Justise will be interviewed on Mike & Mike this morning in about 90 minutes (approximately 9:30 a.m. Eastern). For those near their ESPN Radio app.

Say what you want about Roc Nation, but those dudes are amazing at publicity and marketing (it's also pretty cool to have Jay-Z on speed dial). Winslow is everywhere these days!

Jahlil has Speed Stick and some decent marketing, and Tyus is nowhere to be seen. I feel like I see Winslow about as much as KAT and Okafor combined.

Squawk Box gave Justise a shout out this morning. He was on the set earlier in the month but I didn't see the interview. He made a great impression based on the comments today. And Becky Quick wearing Duke blue.

The next Shane Battier? To be an "A+" student coming out of St. John's ain't chopped liver ya know, and it appears from this video that he has really come out of his shell as far as public speaking is concerned.
