ESPN put together an awards show full of silliness. Reese Davis hosted it and it came across like it was put together by a high school pep rally committee. At least Kaminsky got the Player of the Year, which he deserved. It would have been more reasonable to have 5 finalists for each position and put a little suspense into it rather than just announce the winner. Willie Cauley-Stein was one of the finalists for the top center, although I though even on the Kentucky team Townes was superior. While Duke got no one at any position, we did get the national championship.
