Projections for the WNBA draft got scrambled in the last couple of days when Minnesota's Amanda Zahui B. and Notre Dame's Jewel Loyd announced that they were leaving school early. They were immediately slotted into the first two picks, Zahui B. expected to go to Seattle with the top pick and Loyd to Tulsa at number two. Seattle also has the third pick, and are expected to spend it on Kaleena Mosquera-Lewis from UConn.
As of now, Elizabeth looks like going either to Connecticut at number four or Chicago at number five. Those projections that have her going to Chicago have Iowa guard Samantha Logic going to Connecticut, which is a bit of a surprise since the Sun has Chelsea Gray under contract.
We'll know soon enough. The WNBA draft comes up on April 16.
