...for the Las Vegas casino sportsbooks. Bless their hearts!

Andy Katz puts up as his last guest on the show, an odds-maker, crying the blues over Duke getting all the calls.

Again. My heart is full of blood.

The good thing about heart bleeding (s is used in this case) is that it doesn't make one anemic.

Cry me a river! The refs missed several calls at the end of the Utah game, only calling the final Utah foul after Quinn's arm was practically torn from his body. Not sure how "Duke gets all the calls" can be cried when, in fact, there were several calls that could have been made and no call was made until even the refs could bear no more.

It's an easy meme. Has been for 15 years or so.

I like to roll with it. When someone argues that Duke gets all the calls I just respond with "They better! The checks are clearing!"

I call it the IPTAY TBR (I Pay Thousands a Year To Buy Refs) Club.:p

If both Duke and UK win on Saturday my guess is at least one Vegas sportsbook will be rooting for the Blue Devils:)

Las Vegas-based William Hill, which at one point before the 2014-2015 season started offered odds 50/1 odds on the Wildcats going undefeated and winning a national title.

One of the links on the main page under the Duke links article for today, has a preview and prediction from Fansided. When it comes down to the prediction he doesn't say Duke will win for playing better he says Duke will win because of the refs.

"However, Okafor will be getting a lot of calls in the post and the Spartans will be in foul trouble early. Reversely, the Spartans will struggle to get the calls and when they do, they will have a tough time making foul shots.

This one will be much closer than people think, but I think Duke will have the refs on its side early and often as foul problems will doom Michigan State.

Michigan State 64, Duke 67" -Carter Muldowney

I am not familiar with the guy who wrote it or fansided for that matter, just a curious way to pick a game winner that relates to this thread.

Yeah, that whole stretch was ridiculous.

It was clear 1) the game was OVER, and 2) the refs wanted it to end. But they just kept fouling Quinn harder, until the last guy nearly took his arm off and the official just couldn't let it go.

I sorta blame the refs, but I also blame the Zags. Come on, guys. Unless there was a spot on the floor where you could make a fifteen-point shot, there was no reason to foul-- and certainly not to hack.

I think you meant to say Utes. Pretty sure they're talking about the Utah game, not the Gonzaga game.
