There's several posts on here about how after Duke's loss last year, many didn't pay any attention to the NCAA tournament. Count me among the minority on the other side of the ledger.

Every year, I take these four days off of work and other responsibilities to watch every gosh-darned game I can, and I enjoy every minute of it. If, heaven forbid, Duke were to lose tomorrow evening, I will wait until Sunday afternoon to mourn the season. The first(ish) two rounds are just too much gosh-darned fun.

I love the upsets, the near-upsets, the buzzer-beaters, the extraordinary performances, the chokes, the euphoria of the players, the hung heads of the losers, the hyperbole of the announcers, the split-screen games, the late-night OT matches, players fighting to keep their careers alive, coaches losing their minds after a win (or a loss), the over-production from the television crews, the names you can't pronounce, the coaches who will leave for bigger jobs in a month, the players whose names you will forget in a week but everyone will know tomorrow...

Forget Christmas - it's the most wonderful time of the year!

I hear you Mountain Devil and I'll be watching as many games as possible - how can a true college basketball fan not, I ask? Each year there always seems to be some magical moments (at the risk of sounding corny) in a few games. Hopefully our own Blue Devils will be involved in one or two, with winning results of course.

By the way, regarding that beer - you shouldn't have any problem living there in Asheville. Enjoy (both the microbrews & the hoops!) Let's go Devils!

Skip "Clue less" Bayliss said today on First Take that he thinks the first 2 days of the NCAAT is over rated. His reason was to compare college basketball to the NBA and NFL. Stephen A. was on the other side of the argument and said that it's a great 2 days in sports. As for me, I agree with Stephen A. I love to check my bracket(brackets) and see how I'm doing in each one.
the CBS guys were kidding Charles Barkley about his bracket being busted because he had BYU winning the play in game. One guy told him Charles you're the only person I know that had his bracket busted before the first game. I love this time of year. GoDuke!

I agree with Spanarkel, that was by the rule a goaltending call. SMU didn't play particularly smart in this game. GoDuke!

I can't believe Roosevelt Jones is still at Butler. I know this is wrong, but I think of him as having played in the title game against us.

Does anyone else think the March Madness Live iOS app is the worst piece of junk ever?
I tried iPad and iPhone last night. On the rare occasions it wasn't freezing and/or crashing, you couldn't watch a game and check other scores simultaneously.
