I only found out about this interview after my wife had seen it this past Sunday on her Super Soul Sunday show. Just finished watching. Very well done piece.
He delves into the darkness he fell into after the motorcycle accident and how he rediscovered himself psychologically as he pulled out of his depression.
He talks some about his relationships with his parents and how his with his father was very difficult for quite sometime.
He credits the accident to leading him to finally understand who he is as a person.
Well worth some time to watch.
