This is some wacky live streaming video--think it may be somebody's class project.

So far, Duke's defense is dramatically improved over last week. Aaron looking solid in net.

Myles has three goals and two assists. Denver's SSDMs are too small to do anything with him, and he can run by their poles.

8-5 Duke at half. Really solid defensive effort. Myles had a goal for the ages. Can' believe #1 vs #3 is not on ESPNU.

Yes--a lot of game left but I have been surprised and impressed so far. The defense seems pretty solid.

Is the color off or are the jerseys a light blue?

Horrid defense returns in the 3rd. 11-11 as the 4th begins.

Heck of a game this early in the season.
Not over yet, and seen way too much of an excellent Denver offense.

Pretty discouraging to see how Duke has folded in the fourth quarter, but that may be a sign of a relatively young team.

NOw we know what it felt like to lose to duke the last few years with Fowler dominating at the X. We had almost no possession in the 4th.

Is Brian Dailey still suspended? Would he likely be one of the guys helping out on the face offs? It looked like Duke was not very effective in picking up ground balls or attacking the Denver FOGO when he got the initial win.

Lost 25 of 34 face-offs. That's the ball game. Plus getting basically doubled up on ground balls. As for Dailey, the Denver FOGO was getting the ball forward so fast the wings had little chance to get involved, at least from what I saw (second half only). Our defense was on the field way too much. Got to fix the X somehow.

So what was the final score? According to ESPN, this game did not exist ... it doesn't make their daily men's lacrosse scoreboard.
