Duke relevant is that Ryan Kelly and Carlos Boozer play for the Lakers, but that doesn't mean much for their playing time.

Could be the end for Kobe. Wonder how long it will take for the Lakers to be relevant again.

Put a fork in him; he's done.

Kobe, take a cue from Jeff Gordon's graceful announcement of his impending retirement, and make plans to move on with the rest of your life.

He's gonna come back just to prove he can. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that he will actually be able to perform at even a mediocre level anymore. Time to hang it up Beane

May be lights out. Legs done. Now arms done...

I hear the tear occurred when he was trying to load his money into the Brinks truck

It is a tough, physical beating these athletes take, albeit while being, mostly, well paid.

I don't want Kobe (or anybody that young) to spend the rest of his life in pain. That may not be popular here so I apologize in advance.

Likely did not occur while passing the ball. ;)

(though to be fair, he was actually starting to be more of a distributor in recent games. Such as his 17 (!) assist game.)

I hear the tear occurred when he was pointing to his teammates after being asked about the Lakers' poor record.

Maybe a torn rotator cuff is nature's reminder to shoulder some of the blame?
