That's a great flop - extra drama points for the flailing arms. Is PJ on the Ray Felton NBA diet? Maybe he just gets the munchies a lot.

I could SWEAR, absolutely testify - That on a live broadcast (NBA Finals series that featured Dr J's Sixers vs the Celts, perhaps?) Billy Cunningham referred to the flop as a "Carolina Flop". I wish I could find that clip on youtube...

Perhaps some person with access to NBA archives or any college games Billy called back in the day...

I would love to have this gem to whip out on the right occasion....

I had a "discussion" about this with a Carolina fan last night.

I responded with this fantastic clip of Tyler Zeller.

Lord have mercy, that PJ is one hilarious guy. That is absolutely outstanding. The pinwheel arms really sell it.
Bravo!

Long before K ... long before Shane Battier, UNC's George Karl (the future NBA coach) was the king of flopping.

It must run in their DNA down there. Maybe they consider flipping to be another form of cheating.

You people are monsters. Yes, he wore the wrong shade of blue, but what we saw on that basketball court was a crime against humanity. PJ could have been killed. Tony Parker should be ashamed. This kind of animal behavior has no place in the sport. I'll leave you with this and I hope you will all watch it in its entirety and think about what it means to be a human being.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go start a GoFundMe page with the hopes that we can all join together to help this young man move on past this horrible trauma.
