Women hoping to get back on track before conference play starts on Sunday. 24-7 Duke twelve minutes into the game.

Kendall starting in place of KJ and has been playing well. A little surprising move since she hadn't played much in the previous few games.

Azura may already be the best player on the team. She's playing the top of the zone, and is our best all around offensive player.

No Al Brown again, hope everything is OK. The tallest member of the program is on crutches. Michelle Van Gorp has her foot/ankle in a cast.

A&T is 7-29 from the floor, but five of them are threes.

Duke is shooting 58% from the floor and 8-10 from the line. Azura is 6-6 from the floor.

Final is 87-36. Complete domination in the second half, just about everything went right for the Blue Devils, wrong for the Lady Aggies (that's what was on their uniforms.)

Lot's of good give and go's, and kickouts for open threes. What a difference shooting without multiple hands in their faces.

Score was 84-28 (44-8 in the second half) at the 3:31 mark, when Jenna came in. She scored the only Duke points the rest of the way with a three, while A&T hit two threes and two more to double their previous second half production.

Kind of hard to judge the players when against such overmatched competition.

Next up is Wake, which is hasn't beaten Duke in a while. Actually, none of the Duke players were born before March 5, 1993, the last time Wake won. Ka'lia, the oldest player on the team, was born the next day.

(Half of the other ACC teams haven't beaten us this century. Wake, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Virginia Tech, plus Pitt and Syracuse.)

I guess having a point guard is overrated. Duke had 26 assists on 33 made baskets--19 of them by the bigs. High-lows, diagonals, and kick-outs. Chidom had the best one: from the left block, she faked a drop-step, spun into the lane, and shoveled it to a cutter. Mathias threw one right wing to left corner to set up Frush for a three.

Looked like they were having fun.

I'm pretty sure the point guard overrated comment was in jest, but it was against a much inferior opponent. 26 assists on 33 made buckets is great against any team. Good to see the turnovers down as well. GoDuke!
