What's with the editorializing in the "Expansion-Hasn't Exactly Gone as Planned" blurb? BC was already good in bball and VT has clearly improved since joining the ACC. I know a lot of other Duke fans may want to forget last season altogether, but whoever posted that should have at least done some research. VT was 10-6 with two wins over UNC, a win in Cameron, and a 5 seed in the NCAA tourney. Their coaching situation has stabilized and recruiting has improved greatly, even with a couple defections this year. They probably won't be much to watch next year, but I don't know how you can argue that VT has "not particularly advanced in basketball." How does this stuff sneak past the editors?

I use the classic frequency calculation of SQRT (# of claims/1082) to determine credibility. Obviously, when you are dealing with severity a different approach is necessary.

However, I don't think either approach is appropriate in this situation.
