Former Blue Devil, current Orange, Michael Gbinije really filled up the stat sheet today in leading Syracuse over visiting Long Beach State: 24 points (on 13 shots), 6 rebs, 8 asts, 1 stl, 3 TOs, and he played all 40 mins. He was 4-6 from 3FG and 6-7 inside the arc, and he's all throughout the highlights posted on TheACC.com:

Great to see for a great kid.

Here's hoping Gbinije continues these types of performance, while taking days off on 2/14 and 2/28.

Agreed. I always cheer for our transfers out. So go MG, except of course when....

I'm just stunned that Boeheim is piling up the minutes for his best players so early. I'll be so surprised when they fade down the stretch due to a 6 man rotation where 4 or 5 guys are close to or over 35 min/game.....*

*note to those lacking sarcasm detectors - I'm NOT stunned Boeheim is treating his players like pack-mules, and I WON'T be surprised when they've got no gas left in the tank in late Feb and into March
