That is certainly unfortunate. Given the lacrosse hoax of a few years ago, I assume we will generally refrain from speculation on the merits. But it does not come at a good time for the Flagship, to understate things.

I hope justice is done, in accordance with whatever the truth of the allegations are.

This guy has quite a record- guess the AFAM curriculum didn't teach him much. I wonder if Roy can get the charges dropped.

Don't do this. This is a serious matter.

Have we learned nothing from the past? Wait until all facts are in before we condemn.

This is the third serious crime he has been charged with - assault on a female when a student. Assault on a police officer 2 years ago. I don't know if he was convicted of either

Guessing he's off of Roy's babysitter list.

He'll be fine. the day after the arrest, unc provided a statement signed by 15 members of the 2005 team stating that they were all in study hall together at the time of the alleged crime, whenever that may have been. And they were all proud of their academic work that day, whenever it was.

Your jokes are never funny, but this one is even less appropriate.

Since I am from the school which holds that comedy is per force borderline inappropriate, I am with BD80.

There is nothing funny about the accusations. There is a lot of humor in the implosion of "The Carolina Way." I take the comment in the latter way, not the former.

No one here is making fun of the nature of the charges. Many of us feel that Carolina's knee-jerk "nothing here to see" bull to be overwhelmingly nauseating and overbearing.

At least, that's what I take from all this.

I guess that I am just naturally politically incorrect, but I thought it was very funny (the line, not the charges).
