Congratulations to the entire program. This is an impressive award and represents a lot of hard work by a large number individuals - especially our student-athletes.

From the article:

Duke University will share the American Football Coaches Association’s (AFCA) 2014 Academic Achievement Award to secure the program’s nation’s-best 13th such honor. Duke registered a 100 percent graduation rate for members of its freshman football student-athlete class of 2007 to share the accolade with Northwestern, Notre Dame and Stanford.

Also getting a mention are a few ACC schools. Miami and Wake Forest graduated 90 percent or better. Boston College, Florida State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech (plus Pittsburgh and Syracuse) exceeded 75 percent.

I'm crossing the streams here, but it's interesting to note who all their basketball coaches are.

Congratulations, that is truly something of which we should be proud.

It's nice to win on the field, but it's nicer to win in life. This is winning in life.

Congrats to the entire program and university! The contrast between Duke and UNC is just so stark these days.

That's a great honor. Congratulations to the team, the coaching staff, and the academic support system. To take Duke's football program from life support to the ACC championship game and (hopefully) back to back 10 win seasons is fantastic. To do that while still maintaining the highest academic ideals is truly exceptional.
