It was mine and I thought about bringing it back, but I didn't want to get triple flamed like I did the first time.

He's now tied with Seth Curry for career points! Congrats to Andre for sticking with it and now his hard work is paying off. It'd be great to see Andre use that pump fake and then drive for a dunk! He did that a few times at Duke and it always gave me a smile!
Seth is in the D-League this year, and according to awhom's updates, is tearing it up. Hopefully he gets another call-up soon. He may not be as dynamic as his older brother, but he can really shoot it and is crafty enough to get good looks inside the arc too.

Its also important to note that he played almost 10 minutes. He wasn't just out there for garbage time, he actually played in real game situations and he also had a rebound. With Wade taking days off we may see more of Dawkins in certain situations. We will see Thursday if he gets any minutes against the Clippers when Wade returns to action.

53 out of 94 (56.4%) is pretty insane.

To put into light-hearted perspective, that's a sample size of more than 1% of Dwight Howard's career FGA in the NBA and only 1.3% worse of a shooting percentage (Dwight is 5080 out of 8780 for 57.9%). And all of Andre's shots came from ~20 feet further away than where Dwight was shooting from.

Spoelstra said the team had little doubt about Dawkins' ability as a shooter, with the focus of his D-League stint on upgrading his rebounding and defense.

Given how little playing time he got with the Heat this is not a big surprise, since the deadline for cutting players without guaranteeing their contracts is, I think, tomorrow. He did very well with the D-League affiliate, though, so maybe he can find a spot on another D-League roster and try to get a 10-day contract somewhere to get another chance.
