Duke opens the season at Alabama on Sunday at 8:00pm ET. The game will be on SEC Network as we root for Valparaiso and Missouri to finish their game as soon as possible.

Find out where SEC Network is on your provider here: http://getsecnetwork.com/

ESPN decided not to have our former coach commentating, instead winding up the Alabama fans by putting Auburn's former coach on the broadcast.

In the event of the need for overflow, full WatchESPN subscribers with SEC Network access can watch the game online as well through WatchESPN. I would prefer that the game before us moves quickly.

My PiP gets an early season workout as Duke heads to Texas A&M at 1:00pm ET on SEC Network (is noon on a Sunday in Texas not a bit too early?). This time, the ESPN powers have decided it might be a good idea to have our former coach on commentary for this game.

Why wouldn't that be a good idea? I'll be interested to hear what she has to say.

I hope they set a sweater record in Cameron, would be cool to see the Duke women listed in the Guinness Book.

I hope all those sweaters don't break my TV.

Before the Duke game on ESPN2, the Texas/TxA&M game is on the SEC network. And after the Duke game UConn's slaughter of UCLA will be on ESPN2.

Unfortunately, ESPN's site for blackout maps appears to be down right now. The simple guide should be that you should not expect to be able to watch on ESPN3 within the ACC footprint.

Here is the map for tomorrow's first round game against Albany:
http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2015/0318/ncw_friday12_ms_576x350.jpg

The lucky group in the red-shaded areas get the game on television in full without interruption. Of course ESPN would not have their national provider channel lineups ready yet so if you are in one of the areas and have a national provider, you should probably check your local listings to see which channel you need (720 on DirecTV apparently). Cable usually works differently in this case since they can control things at the headend level. It may be replacing the ESPN2 feed or on its own channel so checking your guide is probably the best idea.

Most of the rest of us get whiparound coverage on ESPN2. We are the biggest name team in our timeslot, so I think we have a reasonable shot of at least getting part of the first half on television before possibly having to give way to online only viewing.

Here is the map for Sunday's games:
http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2015/0320/ncw_sun12pm_ms_576x350.jpg

ESPN also has the channels for two national providers. If you live in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Mississippi and have satellite television, check the following stations: DirecTV 720, Dish Channel 144, Dish FullCourt 458

Those of us with whiparound coverage managed to get pretty much all of the last game on ESPN2. With only two games, expect a healthy dose of our game again.

I am dusting this thread off one final time.

Elizabeth Williams will likely be drafted very early in tomorrow's WNBA draft. Coverage starts at 7:00pm ET on ESPN2. It moves to ESPN3 at 8:00pm ET, but Elizabeth should already be long off the board by then.
