Amazing how quickly Duke drops on the ACC priority list. One loss and we're back in the familiar 12:30 slot (for the second straight week).

I know it's more about demographics than actual football importance, but IF Duke wins Saturday, the game between Virginia (which would be the last unbeaten in the Coastal Division) and 1-1 Duke would be the most important ACC game of the weekend (Notre Dame-FSU is not quite an ACC game ... nationally, no question it's huge). It would certainly have more important than 2-1 Georgia Tech at 0-2 UNC -- a prime time game.

Obviously, we need to beat Georgia Tech to set up that situation -- but I fear if we don't, we'll be relegated to the 12:30 game for the rest of the season (except for the Thursday night game with UNC).

PS I would argue that this Saturday's 12:30 game with Georgia Tech -- the ACC's last unbeaten other that FSU -- is the most important game of the weekend in terms on impact on the ACC divisional race.

A 12:30 kick means I'll be backing out of my driveway at 06:00. I was hoping for a 3:30 kick.

Sadly this is not the week they wait to see what happens the previous weekend to give us a chance to beat GT and have that make a difference. We need to beat GT anyway and then keep it going the next 3 weeks against UVA and on the road at Pitt/Syracuse. If that happens, then the game at home against VPI will demand a prime spot.

Well this diminishes the every other year tailgating experience in Atlanta...I guess this means a quick Chick-Fil-A platter rather than a mega cook out experience.

This game will be available in more households than the Georgia Tech one, which is good news for Tampa-St. Petersburg-Sarasota, Erie, Pennsylvania, and Watertown, New Yor, but bad news for the Jonesboro, Arkansas.
